FTE First-Graders Win Super Bowl Forest Trail Elementary first-graders won the West Austin Youth Association (WAYA) Super Bowl earlier this Fall! The Cowboys beat a second-grade team and took home the championship!

WHS Alum Makes Dream Come True While a student at Westlake HS, Jordan Cartwright (class of 2017) was a huge history buff and train aficionado. Even his Eagle Scout project was a caboose restoration in Galveston. He is now a full-time employee of Union Pacific, training to be a conductor and eventually an engineer. Congratulations, Jordan!

WHS Drone Team Wins Big Congratulations to the Westlake HS Advanced Vertical Robotics (AVR) Drone Team for winning their last two tournaments and qualifying for the World Championships in Arlington, Texas. In only their second year to compete, WHS holds the world's highest score for all flight matches.

Director Named Bus Supervisor of the Year Newly promoted Transportation Director Alex Romero was recognized by the Texas Association of School Bus Technicians as Supervisor of the Year. Alex has been part of the Eanes ISD family since 2009 and most recently served as Shop Foreman. Congrats to Alex!
